The NFL announced Tuesday it has donated $1 million to charities of current and former players, including a pair of players who are listed on the antitrust suit filed against the league.

The foundations of Colts QB Peyton Manning and Saints QB Drew Brees were two of the 87 to receive up to $50,000 from NFL Charities, the league's charitable foundation. Both Manning and Brees are part of the NFLPA's suit against the league to stop the lockout.

Other current players who were among those to receive money for their charitable foundations included Chargers QB Philip Rivers, Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, Jets RB LaDainian Tomlinson and Falcons TE Tony Gonzalez. Former players on the list included Doug Flutie, Anthony Munoz, Junior Seau, Kurt Warner and Steve Young.

NFL Charities has donated more than $17 million to player foundations in the last two decades, the league said. NFL Charities annually provides grants to player foundations, according to the league.
