The Lions have won an appeal with the NFL and will have an extra seventh-round pick this season but lose a pick in that round in 2012, the league announced on Thursday.
Detroit will gain the selection it originally lost as punishment from the Jarrad Page tampering case, the 205th overall pick in the draft. It also now means there will be 254 picks in the draft. The Lions still must swap fifth-round picks with the Chiefs as a result of the case.
The team has six picks in the 2011 draft.
