Broncos OLB Elvis Dumervil had been charged with assault and disturbing the peace after an incident with a parking lot attendent in October, but those charges were dismissed by a Denver court Thursday, according to the Denver Post's Mike Klis.
Prior to the Broncos' Oct. 24 game at Invesco Field, Dumervil, who missed all of last season with a torn pectoral muscle, was involved in an argument with the parking lot attendent. Dumervil forgot his player credential and was not being allowed to enter the lot. Dumervil called a team official and the issue was quickly resolved, but the attendent filed a complaint.
"(Dumervil) never should have been charged in the first place," said Harvey Steinberg, Dumervil’s attorney, per Klis' report.
