Packers DT Johnny Jolly was denied bond by a judge in Houston on Wednesday on charges of possession of a controlled substance. He is due back in court on April 20.

Jolly was arrested last Friday after police found 600 grams of codeine and another containing an unidentified substance under the front seats of Jolly's car, according to The Associated Press. Carl Moore, Jolly's attorney, says his client is innocent.

This is not the lineman's first run-in with the law. He was suspended for all of the 2010 season for violation the league's substance-abuse policy after a separate arrest in 2008 in which officers also found Jolly to have possession of codeine.
