Bill Parcells has officially parted ways with the Dolphins, ending his time as a consultant for the team. The former Giants, Patriots, Jets and Cowboys head coach will work for ESPN as an NFL analyst.

Dolphins spokesman Harvey Greene told the AP on Thursday that Parcells is "not associated with the team anymore in any official capacity." He had been a consultant after stepping down as head of football operations last year.

This is his third time working for ESPN. Parcells was on the network in 2001-02 before taking the head-coaching job in Dallas, and in '07 before starting work in Miami.
