With the players locked out of NFL training facilities, Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco has decided to try another sport.

Ochocinco began a four-day tryout Wednesday with Sporting Kansas City of Major League Soccer, and he got a real workout.

"Exactly what I expected," said the controversial wideout. "I would be a little winded, being that I haven't ran at this pace or this level since the end of our season of football. It was fun. I didn't expect to come in here and be Superman ... or come in and just wow everybody."

Ochocinco, 33, played soccer as a youngster, and he called his professional soccer tryout "a dream I've always wanted to do." Ochocinco would like to join Sporting Kansas City, which opened its season last weekend, but head coach Peter Vermes has called that prospect a "long shot."
