At this year's NFL Scouting Combine, head coach Mike McCarthy told PFW he had full confidence in the four changes that have been made in his offensive staff — Edgar Bennett moving from RB coach to WR coach, Jerry Fontenot being promoted from assistant offensive line coach to RB coach, John Rushing being promoted from offensive quality-control coach to assistant WR/assistant special teams and Joel Hilgenberg being hired as offensive quality-control coach. But team insiders believe Bennett, in particular, will have a very tough act to follow in Jimmy Robinson, who left for a position on Jason Garrett's staff in Dallas. Robinson, who commanded great respect as a former NFL receiver, is widely considered to be the best WR coach in the business. While Bennett could not be more eager to prove himself in his new role, the consensus seems to be that he definitely will have his work cut out for him.
