Cowboys WR Troy Bergeron is making the move back to the Arena Football League.

Bergeron finished 2010 on the Cowboys' practice squad and signed a future contract after the season, but has decided to sign with the Cleveland Gladiators of the AFL. Bergeron has spent time with the Falcons and Bills.

With a lockout in place and no Collective Bargaining Agreement, Bergeron would have to wait to join the Cowboys' expanded offseason roster.

Bergeron was the AFL Rookie of the Year in 2005.

The way we see it

The AFL is far from a lucrative job, but we might see more practice-squad players like Bergeron that want to keep playing football make a similar jump considering the NFL's uncertainty.
