Saints assistant coach Travis Jones was sentenced to three years probation, 100 hours of community service and ordered to pay $1.15 million in restitution for his role in a real estate scam.

The Saints' D-line coach pleaded guilty last June to conspiracy to commit mail fraud for the scam that took place in northwest Texas.

He remained on staff but was suspended 30 days without pay during the 2010 season. The Saints have not released a statement on the ruling.
