Giants assistant special-teams coach Thomas McGaughey has left New York to become LSU's special-teams/defensive line coach.

McGaughey, 37, has been with the Giants since 2007. He was the special-teams coordinator at his alma mater, Houston, before joining the Broncos' staff as their assistant special-teams coach from 2005-2006.
