NFL Films president Steve Sabol suffered a seizure on Saturday evening after accepting an award in Kansas City.

Sabol was set to accept the Lamar Hunt Award for Professional Football on behalf of NFL Films at the 101 Banquet, but left the event early after saying he wasn't feeling well. He was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, where it was confirmed he had a seizure.

Sabol, 68, was awake and alert by Sunday evening, according to an NFL spokesman.

Ed Sabol, Steve's father, founded NFL Films and was selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame last month.
