It was once thought that TE Zach Miller would get the Raiders' franchise tag. Instead, he received a restricted free-agent tender.

Miller and RB Michael Bush, fourth-year veterans, each received tenders, according to The Associated Press. The Raiders put their franchise tag on OLB Kamerion Wimbley.

Miller recently talked to PFW about his situation.

"I know, talking to Coach (Hue) Jackson, that they want me back bad," he said. "I know I'm wanted. It's just a matter of the financials, getting a deal done and working through that part of it on the business side."

In a new Collective Bargaining Agreement, Miller and Bush could be unrestricted free agents, making these tenders meaningless. There is currently a seven-day extension on the deadline for the NFLPA and the owners to negotiate a new CBA.
