The Packers re-signed SS Charlie Peprah, GM Ted Thompson announced Friday.
Peprah started a career-high 11 games at strong safety in 2010, recording 64 tackles, two interceptions and seven passes defensed. He led the Packers with 10 tackles in the Super Bowl win over the Steelers.
According to Adam Caplan of FOXSports.com, Peprah's two-year deal is worth more than $2.3 million. He signed a one-year deal last offseason.
The way we see it
Peprah filled in nicely for rookie Morgan Burnett, who played in just four games before landing on injured reserve. Peprah should still play a big role next season, as S Atari Bigby likely will not be returning.
