Browns LB D'Qwell Jackson has re-signed with the team for one year for more than $4.5 million, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Jackson missed the entire 2010 season after playing in just six games in 2009. In his first three seasons in the league, Jackson had two years with more than 100 tackles. In '08, he recorded 154 tackles and three interceptions.

The way we see it

Jackson should fit into the team's new 4-3 scheme better than he did in the former 3-4. According to The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer, general manager Tom Heckert has indicated Jackson could be the Browns' weak-side linebacker in the 4-3.
