The Redskins have parted ways with OG Derrick Dockery and LB Andre Carter.

Dockery returned to the Redskins in 2009 after two seasons with the Bills. He started every game for the 'Skins from 2004-06, and every game for Buffalo.

After another season of 16 starts in '09, head coach Mike Shanahan benched Dockery last season. He played in just five games with two starts.

"I know I can play in any scheme, man," Dockery told The Washington Post. "All is well, though. I'm looking ahead to what's next. I'm approaching this offseason and making sure that I'm in the best shape I've ever been. I feel good, I'm healthy, and I know I still have great ball left in me."

Carter played in all 16 games, with five starts, in 2010, recording 2½ sacks. He has been with the 'Skins since 2006.
