Falcons president Rich McKay is the new chairman of the NFL's competition committee, the league announced Tuesday.

McKay has been the co-chair since 1998 and a member of the committee since 1994. Former Titans head coach Jeff Fisher will continue to serve in a "non-voting, advisory role" during the offseason.

Joining McKay on the committee is Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis, Giants president John Mara, Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome, Texans GM Rick Smith, Colts president Bill Polian and Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones.
