S Donovan Darius signed a one-day contract with Jacksonville on Tuesday so that he could retire as a Jaguar.

Darius, a first-round pick in 1998, played for Jacksonville from 1998 to 2006. He picked off 14 passes in 115 games with the Jaguars. He spent 2007 with the Dolphins and has been out of the league since.

DE Paul Spicer also signed a one-day deal to retire with Jacksonville, doing so last week.
