The Seahawks hired Carl Smith to be their new quarterbacks coach, replacing Jedd Fisch.

Smith worked with Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll in New England in the late 1990s and later at USC. Last season, Smith was the Browns' quarterbacks coach.

Fisch left Seattle after one season to be the offensive coordinator at the University of Miami.
