Former NFL LB Bryan Cox, who played for four teams in his 12-year NFL career, has been added to the Dolphins' coaching staff as a pass-rush coach.

Cox spent the past two seasons as the Browns' defensive line coach and, before that, was an assistant defensive line coach with the Jets. He will work with the team's defensive linemen and linebackers. Miami tied for 10th in the NFL in sacks last season with 39.

In his playing career with the Dolphins, Bears, Jets, Patriots and Saints, Cox registered 51½ sacks.
