The Titans continue to fill their coaching staff, adding Jim Skipper as the team's RB coach on Friday.

Skipper joins the offensive staff of coordinator Chris Palmer, who was hired on Tuesday. Skipper coached the Panthers' backs from 2002-2010, including the stellar duo of DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart.

Craig Johnson had left his post as the Titans' RB coach for a job with the Vikings. Skipper will work under Palmer and new head coach Mike Munchak.

The way we see it

Skipper has plenty of experience and success with running backs and is coming to a team with one of the better backs in the league, Chris Johnson. The Titans finished just 17th in the league in rushing in 2010, though, after having finished second in 2009.
