The Falcons have signed TE Robbie Agnone and announced that DT Trey Lewis has signed a contract extension. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Agnone, a 6-6, 260-pound free agent, spent time on the team's practice squad in 2010 before being placed on injured reserve in October. He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Redskins following the 2009 NFL draft and spent the ’09 season on the Patriots' practice squad.

Lewis, a 6-3, 312-pounder, recorded two tackles (one solo) in Atlanta's season opener against Pittsburgh and was inactive for the final 15 contests of the 2010 season. He originally was selected by the Falcons in the sixth round of the ’07 draft. In four seasons with Atlanta, he has 35 tackles and one interception.
