Patriots PK Stephen Gostkowski said his leg is "feeling good" after undergoing surgery for a torn right quad muscle in November.

Gostkowski spoke to ESPN Boston at Boston's Children Hospital on Wednesday and said he has not experienced any setbacks in his rehabilitation.

"I feel real good. From where I was — you have surgery and you're on crutches for a couple weeks and you seem pretty down then — but you progress every day," he said.

Gostkowski, who signed a contract extension before the 2010 season, converted 10-of-13 field-goal attempts before getting hurt in Week Nine. Gostkowski made the Pro Bowl in 2008.
