The Cardinals have brought in Louie Cioffi as their new defensive backs coach.

Cioffi has spent the last 14 seasons with the Bengals, including the past eight as assistant secondary coach. His philosophy is similar to Ray Horton, Arizona's recently-hired defensive coordinator.

Arizona ranked 23rd vs. the pass last season, so they will be counting on Cioffi to bring major improvements to that unit.

The way we see it

Cioffi will not only be working under Horton, but alongside Deshea Townsend, who was hired last week as the Cardinals' secondary coach. All three will try to improve the corners and safeties for Arizona, who have not been on the same page with the coaching staff the past few seasons.
