The Bears denied the Titans' request to interview Mike Tice for their vacancy at offensive coordinator, an NFL source told the Chicago Tribune.

New Titans head coach Mike Munchak was reportedly interested in talking to Tice about filling the void left by the firing of ex-offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger.

Tice is coming off his first season as the Bears' offensive line coach and he has one year left on his contract.
