Chargers WR Legedu Naanee was arrested in Indianapolis and charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest early Saturday, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
The report said that Naanee was arrested after refusing to leave a crime scene when he was repeatedly asked to. Police were forced to use pepper spray.
Naanee told officers, "Do you know who I am? I am an NFL player, and I'm going to sue your ass."
The Chargers released the following statement on the arrest: "We're disappointed to hear about the issue involving Legedu. We'll monitor the situation and let the legal process run its course."
Naanee had 23 catches for 371 yards and a touchdown in 2010.
