Vikings DT Kevin Williams underwent arthroscopic knee surgery this week, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Williams experienced knee irritation during the season and is not believed to have any significant ligament damage to the knee. Dr. James Andrews performed the surgery.

Williams made his fourth Pro Bowl this year as a replacement for Lions DT Ndamukong Suh. Williams had just one sack this season, a career low. The veteran has started every game but two over his eight-year career with the Vikings.
