The Jaguars will hire Bengals WR coach Mike Sheppard as their QB coach, the NFL Network, The Cincinnati Enquirer and The Florida Times-Union reported Saturday.

Sheppard, 59, was the Saints' QB coach from 2002-04 and the Seahawks' QB coach from 1999-2000. He had coached the Bengals' wide receivers the last four seasons.

Sheppard replaces Todd Monken, who left to become offensive coordinator at Oklahoma State. Monken had replaced Mike Shula, now the Panthers' QB coach, in January.
