Gary Kubiak has four new members of his coaching staff after the Texans did some hiring on Friday.

Reggie Herring, who was the linebackers coach for the Cowboys last season, has taken the same job in Houston. He'll join former Dallas head coach Wade Phillips, who is now the defensive coordinator for the Texans.

Vance Joseph will be the team's defensive backs coach. Joseph previously was the 49ers' secondary coach.

Kubiak also has inked a pair of assistants, John Butler for the defense and Jim Ryan for the offense. Both will also work with the Texans' special teams.
