The Bills have a major hole at linebacker, but apparently didn't think two players on their roster were qualified to fill it.
Buffalo released LBs Pierre Woods and Mike Balogun on Friday, making both free agents. Woods played in four games for the team in 2010 after being released by the Patriots. He recorded four tackles for the Bills last season.
Balogun, an undrafted rookie from Oklahoma, played in two games last season but did not record any statistics.
