The Bears are expected to sign P Richmond McGee to a reserve/futures contract this week, according to the Chicago Tribune.

McGee has been at training camp with the Bears the last two seasons and has spent one week on the practice squad and one on the 53-man roster over the past two years.

This could mean the end for veteran P Brad Maynard, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent. Maynard, who turned 37 on Wednesday, has been with the Bears for the last 10 seasons.
