Packers OLB Erik Walden was held out of the team's Saturday walkthrough due to an ankle injury and is considered questionable for Super Bowl XLV on Sunday. Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said the team will wait to determine if Walden will play or not on Sunday.
"Erik's going to have to show us something before the game," McCarthy said to PFWA pool reporter Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas. "Obviously we're going over early, two o'clock, so we'll have a decision right there at the deadline."
Walden has been a key player for the Packers lining up across from All-Pro Clay Matthews, registering nine total tackles and one sack in the playoffs. If he is not able to play, it is expected that Frank Zombo will take his place in the lineup.
WR Donald Driver, who was questionable all week with a sore quad, did participate in the workout, according to Archer.
