DALLAS — Packers WR Donald Driver will be held out of practice again Friday, but he's expected to play in the Super Bowl, head coach Mike McCarthy said in his final press conference before the game. Driver also missed practice Thursday.

"I would be shocked if Donald Driver does not play on Sunday," McCarthy said Friday morning. "He would practice today if I would let him. He tweaked (a quadriceps) in Wednesday's practice and I did not want to take any chances at this point, so I will hold Donald from practice again today.

"Donald has played a lot of football, he knows the offense, and he’s had a whole week of preparation with the plan last week, so this is clearly just being safe with him."

Driver, a 12th-year veteran, missed the team's game in Week Nine with a quad injury. He started all 15 games in which he played during the regular season. He has 12 catches for 141 yards in Green Bay's three postseason games.
