The Titans have been granted permission to interview Falcons offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey for their vacant head-coaching position, according to ESPN.
Tennessee is looking to replace Jeff Fisher, who left the team last week. The Titans already have interviewed their current offensive coordinator, Mike Heimerdinger, and offensive line coach Mike Munchak.
Mularkey interviewed for the Browns' head-coaching position in January and declined an offer to interview with the Broncos while the Falcons were still alive in the playoffs. He coached the Bills from 2004-05, compiling a 14-18 record.

Mularkey helped turn the Falcons into one of the leagues' most dangerous offenses, leading Atlanta to the best record in the NFC. He has done great things with QB Matt Ryan and RB Michael Turner, and could help lead a Titans offense that will likely start next season with a quarterback not named Vince Young.
