Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams and Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell are scheduled to interview for the Titans' head-coaching position on Thursday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Williams has been with New Orleans the past two seasons and led the Saints to the league's fourth-ranked defense last season. He has three years of head-coaching experience with the Bills from 2001-03.
He worked spent 11 seasons with the Oilers/Titans organization from 1990-2000, including a four-year stint as the team's defensive coordinator from 1997-2000.
Fewell recently completed his first year as the Giants' defensive coordinator after previously serving as the Bills' defensive coordinator from 2006-09 before becoming their interim head coach after Dick Jauron was fired midway through the '09 season.
The way we see it
Williams and Fewell are the most recent names to be brought up to replace Jeff Fisher. Offensive line coach Mike Munchak is considered the early favorite but the Titans are also considering offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger and Falcons offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey.
