The Ravens' decision to part ways with QB coach Jim Zorn and give some of his responsibilities to offensive coordinator Cam Cameron will allow Cameron to take a more "hands-on" approach with the club's passers, as the team noted. "We've talked about this since the end of the season, and we believe this will help improve our offense," Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said in a statement issued by the club on Jan. 27. "… Cam is excited about this change and is looking forward to it." The decision to let go Zorn did not sit well with starting QB Joe Flacco, who publicly criticized the move. Flacco, who has two years left on his contract, could be in line for a lucrative contract extension down the road, and he has definitely shown progress in his first three NFL seasons, but like Cameron, Flacco will be under some scrutiny entering the 2011 campaign, too, after he struggled in the playoff loss to the Steelers.
