The Ravens reached a five-year agreement with P Sam Koch, according to PFW correspondent and Baltimore Sun writer Jamison Hensley.

Koch has spent five seasons as the Ravens' punter, recording his second highest net average this year at 39.2 yards in 81 punts. He finished tied for fourth in the league in net punting and second in punts inside the 20 with 39. He was set to be a free agent this offseason.

The Ravens reportedly agreed to a contract extension to Golden Toe Award-winning PK Billy Cundiff earlier this month.

The way we see it

With Koch and Cundiff, the Ravens have one of the league's best specialist units, and they have locked both players up for the future, while some teams have to scramble to find consistency at those positions.
