Titans wide receivers coach Fred Graves is leaving Tennessee to take the same position with the Panthers, according to The Tennessean.
Graves is the fifth coach to part ways with the Titans since the 2010 season ended, joining head coach Jeff Fisher, defensive coordinator Chuck Cecil, defensive line coach Jim Washburn and running backs coach Craig Johnson
Graves spent four seasons with the Titans and will join Ron Rivera's new staff in Carolina, working with offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski.
He has experience working with Panthers star WR Steve Smith, whom he coached when both were at the University of Utah.
The way we see it
Graves' departure adds to the coaching overhaul that is under way in Tennessee, highlighted by Fisher leaving the club after 16 seasons. The Titans' 6-10 record was their worst since 2005. In Carolina, Graves will work with a very young group of wide receivers as well as the veteran Smith.
