Each day we'll post the prediction of a PFW editor for Super Bowl XLV. PFW associate editor Kevin Fishbain's prediction is the second of 10.
Packers 20, Steelers 17
Since their loss to the Patriots in Week 15, the Packers have been playing in must-win games, winning all of them, including three consecutive road playoff games. The Steelers' defense is vulnerable against the pass, and few sling it better than Aaron Rodgers, especially this postseason. Dom Capers' defense should rattle Ben Roethlisberger enough to keep this a low-scoring affair, and the Packers will be hard-pressed to get anything going on the ground. Roethlisberger is a gun-slinger, and that could play into the hands of the Packers' secondary when he tries to thread the needle. Both teams like to rush off the edge, and both QBs have the mobility to side-step the blitz. But the Packers' passing game behind Rodgers and Greg Jennings gives Green Bay the slight edge between the two storied franchises.
