The Panthers have hired Ray Brown as an assistant offensive line coach; he held the same job with the 49ers last season.
Brown played in 265 games over 19 NFL seasons from 1986-2005 for the Cardinals, Redskins, 49ers and Lions. He was named a first-team All-Pro in 2001.
With the Panthers, Brown will work under new offensive line coach John Matsko to try and improve the front five for the league's worst offense in 2010.
