Oregon State DT Stephen Paea will miss the rest of Senior Bowl practices due to a knee injury. It is feared that Paea suffered a tear to the lateral meniscus in his knee during Monday's opening practice.

Paea was the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year in 2010. While Paea's injury puts any pre-draft workouts in doubt, he should be recovered in time for the start of the 2011 season.

The way we see it

A strong run stuffer at 6-1, 295 pounds, Paea was projected as a late first-round pick in the upcoming draft, according to PFW draft analyst Nolan Nawrocki. It will be interesting to see how this injury affects Paea's draft stock in the coming months.
