Each day we'll post the prediction of a PFW editor for Super Bowl XLV. PFW associate editor Eli Kaberon's prediction is the first of 10.
Steelers 30, Packers 20
It's kind of crazy to think that Ben Roethlisberger, the third quarterback taken in the 2004 draft, is a win away from matching Tom Brady and Troy Aikman with three Super Bowl titles, just seven years into his career. Roethlisberger is rarely mentioned as an elite QB, yet he continues to pile up victories and rings at a very impressive rate. The Packers have a pretty good QB of their own, and on the fast turf of Cowboys Stadium, Aaron Rodgers and Co. could do some serious damage. I don't see that happening, however, as the Steelers' speedy LBs and DBs should be able to halt the Packers' running game and force Rodgers to play from behind. Green Bay's talented secondary could cause some problems for Big Ben, but I think his big-game experience, along with the league's top scoring "D," helps the QB win ring No. 3.
