The shakeup of the Dolphins' offensive coaching staff continued on Monday with the announcement of Dan Campbell as tight ends coach.
An NFL player from 1999-2009, Campbell played with the Giants, Cowboys, Lions and Saints. He had 91 receptions for 934 yards and 11 TDs in 114 career games. He spent last season on the staff in Miami, working as an offensive coaching intern.
The way we see it
New Miami offensive coordinator Brian Daboll has utilized tight ends heavily in his previous coaching stops, and it wouldn't be a surprise if Dolphins TE Anthony Fasano sees an increase in passes thrown his way in 2011. Campbell could be instrumental in furthering Fasano's development, as well as a young tight end the team might acquire this offseason.
