The question isn't whether new DL coach Jim Washburn will help the Eagles but by how much. "He's the best," said one of Washburn's former co-workers who wished to remain anonymous out of respect to Titans head coach Jeff Fisher. "(Washburn) gets more out of less talent than I have seen. Period. I mean that respectfully. He's just a grinder, a real throwback. He breaks guys down, then builds them back up. He has taken guys off the street and turned them into eight-, 10-sack guys. Just look at the record." Although none of the Eagles' defensive linemen probably need to be broken down completely, a few need work. DE Brandon Graham must be more consistent and well-rounded. DE Juqua Parker, who played for Washburn in Tennessee and turns 33 in May, might get one last spurt. And DT Brodrick Bunkley could use some reviving after taking a step backward in 2010. Washburn almost certainly will help improve all of them.
