Every day this week, a different Pro Football Weekly editor will offer a prediction on the NFC championship this Sunday along with a brief explanation supporting his pick. Making Friday’s pick is PFW editor/publisher Hub Arkush.

In what might be the most anticipated game in NFL history, the better team is the Packers. It’s well past time the Bears got the credit they deserve. They’ve been fortunate, but they’ve cashed in on every break they’ve been given. However, other than special teams, where the Bears were far and away the best in the league, the Pack gets the edge in every other positional matchup, and in some cases, a big edge. The weather might prove to be a bit of an equalizer, but in the end, the cream should still rise to the top.

Prediction: Packers 31, Bears 20
