Former Buccaneers LB Shelton Quarles, who has been serving as a pro scout for the club the past four years, has been promoted to the position of coordinator of pro scouting.

Quarles played 10 seasons with the team (1997-2006), helping Tampa Bay earn three division titles (1999, 2002 and ’05) and a world championship in Super Bowl XXXVII. He was named to one Pro Bowl in his career, following the 2002 season.

In ’07, his first season with the front office after retiring, Quarles played a role in the Bucs' NFC South Division title.
