Bears S Chris Harris missed a second consecutive practice on Thursday as he continues recovering from a left hip injury.
The team is optimistic that Harris will play Sunday against the Packers, and Harris has been telling reporters that he will be ready to go since he suffered the injury in the first half of the divisional-round playoff win over the Seahawks Jan. 16.
"I can't see myself missing this game," Harris said Wednesday. "This is the biggest game of the year thus far. I can't see myself not out there."
The Bears played backups Josh Bullocks and Major Wright in place of Harris against Seattle after he left the game because of the injury.
Harris has started every game this year and is tied for the team lead in interceptions (five).
