Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones said reports that the team is considering trading WR Dez Bryant for a first-round pick are "totally wrong," according to the Forth-Worth Star Telegram.
A hypothetical trade was brought up on a local radio show before ESPN Dallas reported that a member of the front office would think about trading Bryant if the team could get a first-round pick in return.
Bryant had a successful rookie season, catching 45 passes for 561 yards and scoring six touchdowns, despite missing the final four games of the season with a broken ankle. He also scored twice on punt returns.
