The Patriots have signed OL Thomas Austin and OT Steve Maneri to future contracts. Both players finished the 2010 season on New England's practice squad.

Austin, a 6-4, 310-pounder, came into the league with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson. He was waived by Minnesota on Sept. 4 and joined the Patriots' practice squad on Sept. 29.

Maneri, a 6-6, 290-pound Temple product, spent the first three weeks of the 2010 season on the 53-man roster of the Pats after being claimed off waivers from the Texans on Sept. 5. He was waived by the Patriots on Sept. 27 and signed to the practice squad on Sept. 29. He also entered the league as an undrafted free agent.
