Every day this week, a different Pro Football Weekly editor will offer a prediction on the NFC championship this Sunday along with a brief explanation supporting his pick. Making today’s pick is PFW associate editor Eli Kaberon.

If, and it's a big if, Jay Cutler can avoid huge mistakes, the Bears have all the ingredients to top the Packers. Matt Forté has run the ball well lately, Devin Hester can terrorize Green Bay's poor coverage teams and Julius Peppers can wreak havoc on Aaron Rodgers, as he did in Week Three. Lovie Smith has the Bears playing well, and despite the impressive performance in the divisional round, they don't appear to have peaked yet. Meanwhile, Green Bay has played four elimination games in a row and could wear down. I think they will do just that on Sunday.

Prediction: Bears 23, Packers 17
