The Buccaneers' LeGarrette Blount is a powerful back with a violent running style and, following his impressive rookie year, some observers are wondering if the Bucs need to invest in a complementary back to help share the load with him. Blount established himself as the Bucs' featured rusher around the middle of the regular season, and the team leaned on him the rest of the way. Blount had a team-high 201 carries and aside from Cadillac Williams (125 rushes), who is due to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, no other Bucs back had more than 20 carries. We hear the Bucs are open to re-signing Williams and RB Kareem Huggins is expected to be back with the team next season, but is coming off a torn ACL. Huggins had a good preseason, and it would be no surprise if Tampa Bay heads into next season with Williams and Huggins serving as Blount's top backups.
